Terms of service

Lobbli is a free little lobby where a group of friends agrees on what to play and when. These terms are the rules for using it: the website at lobbli.gg, its rooms and the Lobbli Bot on Discord. By using any of them you agree to them.

Who runs Lobbli

Lobbli is run by a private individual in Switzerland, as a hobby and not as a business. You can reach us at mail@lobbli.gg. What Lobbli stores about you, and why, is on the privacy page; it is part of these terms.

Using Lobbli

  • You need to be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for using a service like this one on your own.
  • You need no account: Lobbli makes you a guest on your first visit. Keep the devices you linked and the Discord account you connected to yourself, since whoever has them is you on Lobbli.
  • Lobbli is free, has no ads and sells nothing. It may stay that way forever, but if anything ever costs money, it will be said clearly before you pay for it.

Rooms and invite links

  • Whoever has a room's invite link can join it and see what its members put there. Share it only with people you want in the room. An organiser can replace the link and remove members at any time.
  • The owner of a room decides about it: who organises, what its settings are, and whether it is deleted, with everything in it, for all its members.
  • A room's owner can import the public Steam library of a member who has not linked one. Do that only for friends who are happy with it; they can remove it again at any time.

What you put on Lobbli

Your name, the names of your rooms and game nights, and anything else you type stay yours. You let Lobbli store them and show them to the members of your rooms, and in a Discord channel that a room is linked to, for as long as you keep them there.

Please don't use Lobbli to:

  • harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post hateful or sexual content;
  • break the law, or share what you have no right to share;
  • send spam, flood rooms or channels, or create rooms or guests in bulk;
  • get into rooms you were not invited to, or probe, overload or work around Lobbli's limits and security;
  • copy the game data, prices or calendar in bulk, or build a service on top of them.

If you find a security problem, please tell us at mail@lobbli.gg instead of using it. We will thank you for it.

The Lobbli Bot on Discord

  • The bot posts a room's game nights in the Discord channel that an organiser linked to it, keeps those posts up to date, and answers its commands in that channel. It reads no other messages.
  • Linking a room to a channel makes its game nights, and who is in, maybe or out, visible to everyone who can read that channel, and lets them join the room from there. Link a room only to a channel where its members are happy to be seen.
  • A server's admins decide whether the bot is there and who may use its commands. They can remove it at any time from Discord, and its posts stay under Discord's rules.
  • Using Lobbli through Discord also means following Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Other services

Lobbli shows game data from IGDB, prices from IsThereAnyDeal and libraries from Steam, and links to stores and to Discord. They are run by others, under their own terms, and we can't promise that what they tell us is right: a price or a release date may be out of date. Lobbli is not affiliated with Valve, Discord, or any store it links to.

If something goes wrong

  • Lobbli is offered as it is, for free. We look after it, but it may have bugs, be down for a while, change, or lose data. Don't keep anything there that you can't afford to lose.
  • As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using Lobbli or from not being able to use it. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
  • We may remove content, rooms or guests that break these terms, and block whoever is behind them, if we can with a warning first.
  • You can stop using Lobbli at any time. To have your profile and everything attached to it deleted, write to mail@lobbli.gg.

Changes and law

We may change these terms as Lobbli changes. The date at the top says when they last changed, and a change that matters will be announced on Lobbli's Discord server first. Using Lobbli after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are under Swiss law, and the courts at the operator's home are responsible for disputes, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to your own courts.
